I’ve been waiting for this all year. This is one of the greatest rivalries of all time!!!! You got your Yankees-Red Sox. You got your Michigan-Ohio State. You got your Ali-Frazier. Duke-UNC. Then you got the Lakers and the Celtics. Oh so beautiful. Does anyone know how heated that rivalry was in the 80’s?!?!?! If not, then check out this little gem: McHale clotheslines Kurt Rambis.

Each of these teams has had some of the best players of all time play for them. Lakers: Wilt Chamberlain, Jerry West, Magic Johnson, Kareem, Elgin Baylor, Shaq and Kobe. Celtics: Bill Russell, Larry Bird, Bob Cousy, Paul Pierce, Keven Garnett, Kevin McHale, John Havlicek.

Then each team has a bunch of old men that play for them at the end of their careers e.g. Gary Payton, Karl Malone, Dominque Wilkins etc.

I predict that the Celtics will win in 7. Number 17.

This presidential campaign is an important one. The new President is going to have to undertake all sorts of problems facing our country today. 2 Wars (Iraq and Afghanistan), crazy terrorists, a looming recession, etc. I feel it is important to pick a President based on his/her qualifications. We shouldn’t pick a President based on demographics. Someone sent me an email with a link to this article. It’s a good one. An Old Newness By Thomas Sowell.

This last weekend I had the chance to go to Butte, Montana. By gracing Butte with my presence, I completed Life Goal #234….”Visit Butte, Montana”.

I rode up Saturday morning with the Wigglesworth’s (Tyler & Krista) and Krista’s friend, Alex. We arrived in the metropolis of Butte at about 5 pm (I really have no clue when we got there). Lyle (the dad) immediately took Tyler and I to test drive a truck that would be deemed a Greek God among Men……if it weren’t a machine. Then we went back to the house and ate some grub that Mary Wigglesworth cooked up for us. We played the “So, What Have You Been Up To? You Going To School?” game for part of the evening.

I fell asleep that night watching “Dances with Wolves”.

Now, the next day was Sunday. We went to church. This is where I saw the true Butte, MT. Just as Superman draws his superhuman strength from our yellow sun, the residents of Butte draw their superhuman abilities from a big lake of toxic waste in the middle of the city. If you don’t believe me, watch the following clip.

This clip clearly shows you the genius of the residents of Butte. Another evidence that these citizens have the intellect to challenge any Mensa member is that Butte had the longest running Red Light District in all of the US. In fact, they had brothels functioning until the 1980’s.

Church was great though. We had a nice sacrament meeting about mom’s and how rad they are (I came to the conclusion that they are very rad). I got to meet a lot of awesome Buttites and they are wonderful people. They remind me a lot of a kind soul from Moses Lake named Mike Wright.

Spent the rest of the Sunday by watching 2 spectacular moves, “Just Like Heaven” and “Ladder 49”. Then I smoked everyone at a game “Ticket to Ride”.
